Athlete Development Program

A comprehensive, year-round system for athletes committed to reaching their peak. We use a periodized training model to build the engine, refine the machine, and unleash speed when it counts.

Training Cycles

Cycle 1:Foundation & Physical Development

Background • Technique • Strength & Conditioning

Purpose

To build the athletic engine. This phase focuses on increasing work capacity, correcting mechanical inefficiencies, and establishing a base of general strength.

Key Focus Areas
  • General Physical Preparedness (GPP)
  • Aerobic & Extensive Tempo Capacity
  • Basic Sprint Mechanics & Posture
  • Hypertrophy & Anatomical Adaptation
  • NoteVolume is high, intensity is moderate. The goal is to prepare the body for the demands of high-speed training.

    Cycle 2:Specific Preparation & Power

Acceleration • Elasticity • Force Application

    Purpose

To bridge the gap between general fitness and sprint-specific performance. We begin to translate strength into power and refine acceleration mechanics.

    Key Focus Areas
  • Acceleration Mechanics (Drive Phase)
  • Explosive Power & Plyometrics
  • Intensive Tempo & Lactic Threshold
  • Max Strength Development
  • NoteIntensity increases, volume decreases slightly. Focus shifts to force application.

    Cycle 3:Pre-Competition & Performance Modeling

Max Velocity • Speed Endurance • Race Strategy

    Purpose

To sharpen the blade. Training becomes highly specific to the athlete's event, focusing on race modeling and maintaining speed under fatigue.

    Key Focus Areas
  • Maximum Velocity Mechanics
  • Speed Endurance & Special Endurance
  • Race Modeling & Tactics
  • Reactive Power & Stiffness
  • NoteQuality over quantity. Every repetition must be executed with high precision and speed.

    Cycle 4:Competition & Peaking

Execution • Freshness • Mental Readiness

    Purpose

To perform on demand. Volume drops significantly to allow for supercompensation (recovery), ensuring the athlete is fresh, fast, and confident.

    Key Focus Areas
  • Race Execution & Reaction Time
  • Neurological Sharpness (Overspeed/Assisted)
  • Tapering & Recovery Strategies
  • Mental Visualization & Confidence
  • NoteThe work is done. Now we focus on rest, sharpness, and executing the plan.

    Daily Session Structure

    Dynamic Warm-Up & Movement Prep

    Technical Skill Development
    Primary Training Focus (Speed/Power)
    Supplemental Work (Core/Mobility)
    Cool-Down, Recovery & Education
